College football picks for Week 5; Michigan is the best bet

Michigan will be angry after its embarrassing performance at home against Akron a week ago. It is clear the Wolverines weren't focussed against the FCS foe.
How bad was that narrow win? Well, consider that Akron was nowhere near as good as the Appalachian State team that shocked the Big Blue a few years ago at Ann Arbor.
That spells bad news for the Huskies who probably couldn't beat Akron anyways.
Expect Michigan to roll on the road at UConn just as UCLA did as my best bet a week ago.

Best Bet: Michigan.
Preferred: USC, Kansas State, Arkansas State, Oregon State.

Here are the lines. Picks are in BOLD.

NCAA picks for Week 3; picks for every game and best bet

After a fine week 2 here we go for week 3 of our college football picks.

Best Bet: UCLA: The fact that the Bruins are getting 4 here is a joke. Nebraska is ranked and they are at home but there is no team destined for a meteoric rise to the Top 10 like UCLA. Get on them while the lines are still in your favor. This is the best UCLA team in many years and Brett Hundley is a Heisman Trophy candidate you'll be hearing about soon.

Other preferred bets: USC, Wake Forest, Penn State, Maryland.

In the I wouldn't bet it category but you have to pick it: I'll take Alabama to pull away late and cover the 7 against the Aggies.

Good luck. Here are the lines and the picks for every game are in bold.

College football picks for Week 7, looking to go 5-0 on best bets

Arizona took Stanford into overtime last week giving us our fourth straight best bet to start the season. The Wildcats led by 14 points late and were getting 9.5 points so we never sweated on this one.

This week our best bet is UCLA. We've had a great deal of success in the Pac-12 this season and we're sticking with it here. UCLA turned the ball over six times last week and freshman QB Brett Hundley threw four picks. That's because the Bruins had to abandon their running game leaving Hundley in the line of fire. That won't happen this week. UCLA will run wild here and Hundley will only have to make the safe throws.

UCLA and QB Brett Hundley
should roll against Utah

Here are the picks for every game on the board. Remember, the picks are in bold
Best bet: UCLA
Preferred: LSU, USC, and Kentucky

College football picks for Week 5

Arizona State rolled last week making us 2-0 on the best bets for the season. And both have been blowouts.
This week we're going with a total. I like the Michigan State-Ohio State game to go well under the total of 43.5.. It looks like a field goal fest throughout this game.

Best bet: Ohio State game under 43.5
Preferred: Arizona, Buffalo, La. Tech and Arkansas State

UCLA lands top recruit

Shabazz Muhammad, regarded by many as the top high school player in the country announced Wednesday he would play for UCLA next year.
The 6-foot-6 wing had narrowed his list of finalists to include Kentucky and Duke. Muhammad is a senior at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas but trimmed the hometown UNLV Runnin’ Rebels and Kansas from his list in recent days. He made his announcement in a live broadcast televised by ESPNU.
