Stonehill Leads New Haven 10-9

Second quarter
Ryan Osiecki connected with Jason Thompson for a 5-yard touchdown with just 4 seconds left in the first half. Michael Herrera's extra point was blocked, keeping Stonehill ahead. The Skyhawks broke a 3-3 tie when Danny Carducci scored on a 2-yard touchdown run at the 12:14 mark.
Mistakes Continue
Costly mistakes have been the theme of the Chargers' season thus far. With a chance to cut into Stonehill's 10-3 lead, New Haven had a bad snap on a field-goal attempt and then was called for intentional grounding on the same play.
Penalties
Stonehill has been fortunate. The Skyhawks, leaders of the NE-10 in most penalties, have five penalty. But New Haven hasn't been able to take advantage.
First quarter
Herrera booted a 35-yard field goal on the game's first drive to give New Haven a 3-0 lead. Kicker Brendan Gorey responded for Stonehill with a 37-yard field goal to tie the game at 3-3.
Osiecki was 4-of-6 for 45 yards. Stonehill quarterback Tim Morrison was 4-of-4 for 57 yards.
