WEST HAVEN >> Hoping to right the wrongs from a 45-14 Week 1 loss to West Chester, University of New Haven senior quarterback Ronnie Nelson told the Chargers’ receivers to stay on the field for extra reps following Thursday’s practice.
Coach Pete Rossomando wasn’t surprised. He said last week’s loss was a wake-up call heading into a matchup against Pace University at Ralph DellaCamera Stadium today at 1 p.m.“The guys are a little testy,” Rossomando said. “They haven’t been 0-1 in a while. They’ve got to respond.” Read more here
